Drass has recently gained DNVGL 2.7.2 certification for its latest Offshore Service Module.
This module is outfitted with a robust heating and cooling capability following the customer requirement to provide a heating and cooling system to a hyperbaric welding habitat, at a maximum depth of 100 meters. The whole system has been incorporated within a small space – that of a 10 foot long container – with full compliance for the DNVGL 2.7.2 Standard safety aspects.
Another particularity of this project was the remote survey performed by DNVGL surveyors directly from Aberdeen, an efficient alternative to traditional inspection methods.
With this system, Drass once again demonstrates its continuous commitment to producing high-quality solutions that satisfy the most demanding requirements of our customers in the oil and gas industry.
