CCC VISIT DRASS HQ

On June 7th, DRASS had the pleasure of welcoming Walid Fouany, Plant Manager at CCC Consolidated Contractors Company (Underwater Engineering) S.A.L. This visit followed CCC’s acquisition of the Diving Support Construction Vessel Wadad Aletheia. Outfitted with a DNV-classed DRASS i100 Series (24-man) saturation system, including a fully automated twin bell and 3-diver air/nitrox surface DRASS diving spread, Wadad Aletheia stands as one of the most formidable DSCVs globally.

As valued partners in the vessel’s upgrade, the visit was an excellent opportunity to advance negotiations for the supply of training services, spare parts, and the imminent installation of the DRASS KOMMS communication system. This new system, designed for internal saturation and air diving operations, will complement the existing DRASS Outer Area communications system, ensuring a complete DRASS outfitting.

The visit featured an extensive tour of DRASS’s production facilities, spread across three adjacent sites. It highlighted the company’s various business lines, with a special focus on DRASS’ offshore commercial technology. Notably, the tour showcased the patented saturation diving spreads, bells, panel automation, and diving equipment, including the D-ONE commercial diving helmet. DRASS extends its warmest thanks to Walid Fouany and CCC for this productive visit.
