The new DRASS LH-300 Simulated Diving Facility is now open for business at the Constanta Military Diving Centre for the training of national and international Special Ops Forces. Last week the first course kicked off with a splash, with the first 12-week Underwater Diving Operator Course now underway. On course completion at the end of April, following theory and practical assessments, graduates will be certified to perform surface dives at 30-50 msw both with air and gas. Various training up to a simulated pressure of 300 msw is now possible as part of this state-of-the-art facility.
During underwater military exercises undertaken at the Centre, graduates are trained with the technologically advanced DRASS D-ONE Diving Helmet – a helmet that meets the demands of the 21st century diver providing a level of performance, functionality, ergonomics, and safety on the job that’s second to none.
